A Processing Supervisor is needed immediately for a leading Industrial Manufacturing Company. Qualified candidates must have 6
years' experience with management, production flow, and scheduling in the foundry environment. Candidates must have working knowledge of foundry and grinding processes in an industrial manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire position located east of Birmingham, AL and local candidates are only needed at this time
Responsibilities for the Supervisor
Maintains product flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
Requirements for the Supervisor
6
years of Foundry experience or in a related environment.
Certified Degree, Technical Degree, and/or Certificates required.
