Seeking a high energy individual to assume the role of Controls Engineer. The individual must be able to work any shift at our Anniston, AL facility. The individual must have the knowledge of Vission Systems (COGNEX), Human Machine Interface (HMI), Robots (Motoman, Fanuc, ABB), PLC ladder logic (AB), Barcode reading systems (Keyence), and posses good communication skills to lead plant efforts with equipment standards for current manufacturing equipment and new product launch.
Controls Engineer minimum requirements three years experience in manufacturing/industrial environment. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to troubleshoot/and train future candidates. Experience in problem solving.
Experience in:
Design Control Circuits
Control Panel Layout
Project Documentation
Project Management
Excellent understanding of AutoCAD
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding of Allen Bradley products PLC and HMI
Good understanding of Siemens PLC and HMI products
Familiar with AC and DC Variable Frequency Drive applications
Familiar with industrial networks (IE Profibus, DeviceNet, Remote I/O, Asi)
Experience in PLC programming (AB Control Logix, Compact Logix, SLC, Siemens S7, HMI Systems (RSViewSE or PanelView Plus)
Motion Control Technology (VFDs, encoders, servo drives & resolvers)
Interdisciplinary understanding of control interfaces
Knowledge of control bus systems (Profibus, ASI, Ethernet)
Full control panel design utilizing AutoCAD
The ability to write/implement software & review control panel/electrical layouts.
Available to work onsite to install, commission, and test installation of equipment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
