Responsibilities:
- Groom pets according to client specifications and breed standards - Bathe and dry pets using appropriate grooming techniques and products - Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing - Style and trim fur using clippers, scissors, and other grooming tools - Provide excellent customer service by listening to client requests and addressing any concerns - Maintain a clean and organized grooming area - Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort during the grooming process
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a pet groomer or completion of a grooming program preferred - Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements - Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments in a gentle and compassionate manner - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners - Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time Note:
This job may also involve pet sitting or working in a kennel environment, depending on the specific needs of the business.
